Psychiatry
Psychiatry is a part of medical sciences, which deals with studies and treatment of mental and emotional disorders. Consultant psychiatrists in psychotherapy are medical doctors who have qualified in psychiatry and then undertaken a three or four-year specialist training in psychotherapy. Their role is in the psychotherapeutic treatment of patients with psychiatric illnesses, they can prescribe medications or other medical therapies for the treatment of mental disorders.
