Gynaecology and Obstetrics
Obstetrics and gynaecology comprises antenatal care and the management of diseases specific to women. This includes labour and delivery, reproductive medicine, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriages, sterilisations and infertility. Gynaecologists provide treatment for women with cervical cancer, tumours of the ovaries, endometriosis, hysterectomies, vaginal surgery and failed contraception.
